Transcendence

Sometimes, a painting has a will of its own. While enthusiastically engaged in action painting on another work, a few paint splatters decided to go on an adventure—landing right on Transcendence. A surprise that called for restoration, yet every brushstroke brings its own moment.

A different day, a different season, a different light. In correcting the splatters, her gaze softened—subtly changed by time and circumstance. The soul of the painting remains, but with a nuance that only chance and the artist’s hand could bring.
