Mystified

Swirling around the fog of the Laguna
The pallor in her eyes casts a glint
She’s walking through memories long gone
Mystified as the day unfurls

It is not necessarily a good idea to finish a beautiful, nearly completed painting after an inspiring trip to Venice…. that way you end up with a completely modified painting. I should have started on a blank canvas, I would now have two beautiful new paintings. Lessons learned…
