I, Hesther van Doornum, am a visual artist, based in Vlijmen, Meliepark 18, zip code 5251EL and am responsible for the processing of your personal data.
Your privacy is very important to me. I would therefore like to inform you via this Privacy Statement about the way in which I deal with collecting of personal data.

Use of cookies

I use functional cookies that are necessary for the site to function; for example, to enable to place items in the shopping basket, and others help to improve your experience and that of others by analysing how the site is used. I also use cookies that store information; which paintings you have viewed and added to your shopping basket. This information may be used to tailor advertisements on other sites. I use Google Analytics to keep track of how many art lovers use my website and which pages are visited. This gives me insight into the use of the website. The IP address is anonymous. This means that I cannot trace a website visit back to a person. I have not given Google permission to use analysis information obtained through my website for other Google services.

There is one exception: I am legally obliged to keep records, including invoices with address details, for seven years.

Data will explicitly not be provided to third parties, other than third parties directly involved in the execution of the assignment between you and me, or unless a legal provision obliges us to do so. Data will be shared: In order to guarantee that payment can be made, my payment providers have access to your personal data. In order to be able to deliver the paintings to your home or to the address provided and to process any returns, I share your personal data with a courier.

Reference to third parties:

On my website I use links and buttons that refer to websites of third parties. Such as the network services/social media FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn. The moment a visitor clicks on such a link or button, he leaves this website and the cookie use of the third party applies. This privacy statement does not apply to third party websites that are linked to this website by means of links.

View, modify and delete data

I offer all visitors the opportunity to view, change, or delete any personal information currently provided to us. I will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within one week at the latest.
