This painting was ‘born’ in the light of a full moon. I just LOVE the intimacy of these special hours, the wonderful atmosphere; the warmth of the different blacks, translucent white and beige, the unique musterd/gold tones… (well known by the observer). With this painting I tried to reduce this special sphere to its essence, a pure moment of intimacy.
